CEV and lunar ascender rendezvous
In this speculative illustration a manned Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV) prepares to dock with a with a manned lunar ascent module over the Moon.
The core of this CEV (crewed capsule and service module combined) is 48 feet long by 20 feet wide, while the solar voltaic array has a spread of 80 feet. The lunar ascent module stands 22 feet tall by 35 feet long.
