CEV approaching the ISS
In this speculative illustration, a manned Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV) approaches the International Space Station (ISS) at an altitude of 250 miles.
This CEV is 33 feet long with a maximum diameter of 20 feet while the solar voltaic panels have a maximum spread of a little over 60 feet. The ISS is about 360 feet by 240 feet, or slightly larger than a football field.
