Orbital maintenance platform in high Earth orbit
Typical configuration for a manned orbital maintenance platform (OMP) where it is docked with a free-flying crewed spacecraft. The manned spacecraft provides life support for up to seven astronauts and is capable of returning independently to Earth. This configuration is 70 feet long with a maximum diameter of 18 feet.
